Birthday Cards
My traditional art skills have come in handy in my recent freelance projects. The theme of birthday celebrations was the task of both projects which made me excited to bring out my Copic markers once again.
My traditional art skills have come in handy in my recent freelance projects. The theme of birthday celebrations was the task of both projects which made me excited to bring out my Copic markers once again.
The first images seen show a personalized card for a co-worker and features our office's favorite guard dog. The bandanna is an added detail calling to the honorees love for the American Football Team The New England Patriots.
The second set of images showcase a cake illustration to celebrate the Alumnae of Incarnate Word High School. The cake takes inspiration from the school's uniform and mascot, depicting a plaid pattern and a shamrock surprise inside. Hues of green and white are complimented with a shade of peach to make the shamrock spirit pop. The grid below also shows earlier concept images.
