Inspiration
The 2024 San Pedro Creek Culture Park Fiesta Medal was inspired by the newest public artwork. The 10ft sculpture created by local artist Diana Kersey can be found in downtown San Antonio on El Paso St. The crayfish was chosen by community members during a public art input session where they reminisced about playing with crayfish at San Pedro Springs Park and finding them along the creek.
