International Women's Day | Graphic Art
International Women's Day commemorates women around the world for their social, economic, cultural and political achievements around the world. As part of my internship with Texas A&M University: Offices of the Dean of Student Life, I was tasked with creating an illustration meant to celebrate International Women's Day for an annual University Conference. As a POC myself, I took inspiration from minority women figures who were progressive and courageous in their endeavors for gender equality. Below are the original sketches, inked images and final renderings of the graphic art created for this conference.
