RAYO PLANNING
Rayo Planning is a new startup firm based in Dallas, Texas. The founders are two women who began this planning firm to serve neighborhood communities. They reached out to me to conceptualize and design their new business logo.
CONCEPTS
When we first began the process, my clients didn't have name for the business yet. Potential names were thrown around before they settled on "rayo". Below are some of the concept logos presented.
DEVELOPMENT
The word "rayo" means lightning bolt or beam in Spanish. It is also the resulting combination of the two founders surnames. Going off of both meanings, we decided to move forward with logos that were representative of beams, angles, and sun rays.
FINAL
The clients settled on the the variation of logos presented below. A warmer palette was chosen to reflect a welcoming, fair, environmental and representative of the community they plan to serve.
