2023 San Antonio River Authority Fiesta Medal
SKETCHES | Visualizing "Safe, Clean & Enjoyable"
For this year's fiesta medal, I focused on the River Authority's Mission Statement: "Committed to Safe, Clean, Enjoyable Creeks and Rivers". To help visualize this, several sketches were created using the agency's pre-established branding, previously used symbols, and color palette. Since the river is the central subject, it was important to use a wave pattern and incorporate a water motif to bring all the symbols together.
SAFE - Waves crashing representing the commitment to flood control safety
CLEAN - The Longear Sunfish is a native fish species of the San Antonio River and is an indicator of healthy water quality conditions
ENJOYABLE - A kayak and paddle to highlight the many recreational opportunities available to the public.
