Inspiration
The 2025 San Pedro Creek Culture Park Fiesta Medal was inspired by the latest public artwork installation. “Falling Water” is a 13ft sculpture created by Brooklyn-based artist Mark Reigelman. The piece features an outreached hand that also acts as a water filter from the I-35 Highway underpass. As rainwater falls from the highway above, the hand catches contaminated water and filters it before returning it to San Pedro Creek.
